Easter Album #3

So while one twin is getting pointers from dad, the other one is finding chocolate and going to town...LOL!!

He was trying to sneak but I caught him.

Easter Album #2

Here's a layout I made of my Hubby giving one of the twins pointers on how to look for eggs.  It was such a cute moment, "Dad giving advice to the son", that I had to capture the moment and scrap it.  I know there will be many more moments like this but I thought it was too cute to pass up.

I think that this layout came out really cute considering that it has soo many flowers on a boy layout.

Thanks, Mercy

Easter Layout #1

This is the first page of the twins Easter album 2010.
I cut this egg free handed.  I could have used a cricut cartridge but I didn't have an easter one at the time.  I think it came out pretty good for being free handed.

I got this idea from You Tube and a changed it a little bit to fit the pictures that I had.  It's really hard to make layouts for boys since almost everything out there if mainly for girls :(

For a more detailed explanation of the layout, please go to my YouTube channel- bneefreak.

Hope you enjoy :)

Christmas Mini 2010

Started working on my 1st Christmas Mini EVER!!

Here is the front cover that I made using the My Mind's Eye Sweet Dreams Holiday Avenue.  I also used Bona's rosette technique with the Aspen Snowflake by Martha Stewart.
I handmade the ornament since I wanted to be a certain size and shape.  I used stickles around the ornament and also on the top of it.  I found this quote online and thought it would be perfect since the pictures that followed were the decorating of the christmas tree.
I used the Spellbinder's Nestabilities Labels #8 for the photo mat.  I also used the plastic ribbon that you use to wrap gifts for an accent along with a he papers that were used here are from the DCWV Holiday Stack.  I also blinged up the chipboard using the iRock...I LOVE that thing!!
Since I have twins, I always have to make a duplicate.  I was only able to find 1 chipboard box and so I have to make them a little different.  I think it came out super cute too.

I will continue to upload my pics as I get them finished.

Hope you enjoy,
Mercy

Niece's Baby Shower

One of my niece's is having her very first baby!!  She finally picked a theme and then we ran with it.  Here are some of the items that we made for her shower.

One of my other nieces and I took the Wilton Cake Decorating classes at Michael's.  So we were chosen to make the cake.  I think it came out super cute.
This is my favorite layer.  I love how the boats came out and the the seagulls give it that final touch.
The little choo-choo train with the smoke coming out...cute :)
As her centerpieces, she had pots with orchids inside.  We painted the pots in a beautiful baby blue and them stamped them with a Martha Stewart stamp.
She had a transportation them and so there is a car...
 a boat...
and a plane.

We also made the invitations but I need her to give me one of each so I can post them on my blog.  As soon as I get those pics, I will post them.

Hope you enjoy,
Mercy

Halloween Mini-Album

Here is a halloween mini that I finished about a month ago but haven't been able to upload until now (computer problems :(  )
This was made using the Ravenhead Manor Collection from Michael's.
I used old transparencies that I didn't need anymore as the pockets and distressed them with Stazon.
This is a little envelope that I made using the adhesive border, decorative brad, and frame from the collection.

This is the envelope once you open it up.  There's plenty of room for pictures and journaling.

If you would like to see the rest of the pages and how I made them, please go to my YouTube channel at bneefreak.

I really hope that you enjoy my album :)  Mercy

I'm Back!!

I FINALLY got my computer back and so I am going to be able to post more often!!  I thought I got acomputer virus.  A friend form work said that her husband could look at the computer for me.  He said that I had too many anti-viruses on there and so he removed them.  Then he said that the fan on the computer broke and he didn't have a way to order the part.  I then took the laptop to a small business to fix.  A week and a half later, I got my computer back.  I am sooooooooooo happy.  I have been jonesing for my computer for a month and a half.  Now it is finally fixed and I am ready to upload my projects.

Hope you enjoy,
Mercy
