Easter Album #7

I love this layout!!  It came out soo cute!!  I used the Tim Holtz mask to ink up the page and and give it a little more depth.  I would have LOVED to put some of the Tim Holtz gear dies but I don't have the die :(  neither do any of my friends down here :(  So this is how the page will look until I find the die at a "can't pass it up" price...LOL

I was able to find the little metal Tim Holtz gears and added them tot he page.  I also used the watch rub-ons that were at Micahel's.  I was only able to get 1 pack of those rub-ons but I put them to good use.

Easter Album #6

Here is my first attempt at doing basket weaving.  I think it came it super cute.  I wanted to bring in pink to the page without it being OVERly pink so I used a soft pink as the background.  Then I got some patterened paper and did a very loose basket weave so som eof the pink could still show.

I cut out the rabbit and the carrot using the "Create a Critter" cricut cartridge.  I then distressed the edges with some ink in order to give them a little more depth.  I think it came out super cute.

Easter Album #5

I LOVE the way this layout came out!!  The semi-circles that look like brick came out sooooooo life like.  I love, love, love it!!  I used the Tim Holtz bricked embossing pad along with color que copper and french blue.

I also LOVE this hopscotch board!!  I was trying to cut it out with the cricut "Locker Talk" cartridge but it was taking forever.  I had just bought some alcohol inks and decided to give it a try....I was super impressed with how it came out.  I didn't have to waste a whole mess of different papers in order to get the desired affect.

Easter Album #4

This is a very peronalized layout because I got each one of the twins to color in the title.  I had just gotten my first set of copic markers and decided to have them color it in...very carefully.  Now each one has a sample of how they colored when they were 4 years old.  These are the kind of keepsakes that thye will treasure forever.

Both if them are trying really hard to stay within the lines :)

Easter Album #3

So while one twin is getting pointers from dad, the other one is finding chocolate and going to town...LOL!!

He was trying to sneak but I caught him.

Easter Album #2

Here's a layout I made of my Hubby giving one of the twins pointers on how to look for eggs.  It was such a cute moment, "Dad giving advice to the son", that I had to capture the moment and scrap it.  I know there will be many more moments like this but I thought it was too cute to pass up.

I think that this layout came out really cute considering that it has soo many flowers on a boy layout.

Easter Layout #1

This is the first page of the twins Easter album 2010.
I cut this egg free handed.  I could have used a cricut cartridge but I didn't have an easter one at the time.  I think it came out pretty good for being free handed.

I got this idea from You Tube and a changed it a little bit to fit the pictures that I had.  It's really hard to make layouts for boys since almost everything out there if mainly for girls :(

Hope you enjoy :)
